Medium Pressure Plugs

Application

iNPIPE HIRE's™ Medium Pressure Pipe Plug or MP Pipe Plug is recommended for hydrostatic test applications. It is used when a weld or joint needs hydrotesting but no end flanges are available.

Traditionally, temporary flanges or pipe caps would be welded to the pipe and removed after testing.  Using iNPIPE HIRE's™ MP Pipe Plugs reduces the cost of material and labour as a result.

The MP Pipe Plug can also be used in a very basic pig launching scenario.
